Our London office was established as a Regional Underwriting Centre in the reorganisation of 2003. Our building in Billiter Street dates from 1865, is listed and was at one time the Spanish Embassy.
Our broker base of predominantly London intermediaries is relatively small, but we pride ourselves on strong personal and business relationships with those we deal with, built up over many years.
We have 12 staff, including 7 Underwriters/Senior Underwriters, and 3 Development Underwriters. Between us we have a huge amount of experience and knowledge of both the London market and our niche sectors. Our focus is very much on service and access to local decision makers and our recent excellent results and levels of client retention in a difficult market reflects our approach.
