Amanda Hone
Senior Underwriter
Amanda started working for the Ecclesiastical in 1988, straight from school within the Household department. She then left in 1995 on maternity leave, but enjoyed being a mum so much she didn’t return to work until 1999.
Karen started back as a Schemes Underwriter and then moved on in January 2000 to the Commercial Department. Since then she had moved on to Gloucester RUC where she enjoys a variety of work and dealing with friendly brokers. Amanda's role covers all aspects of the underwriting process from new business quotations, endorsements and renewals for all our niche commercial products. She takes referrals from other members of staff and also has the responsibility for training them. Amanda helps with system issues and is a Gloucester RUC’s database Champion.
In her spare time she is an avid Liverpool FC fan and also enjoys spending time holidaying with friends and family.
