Joe Flynn
Development Underwriter
Joe was born at a very young age drifted into the world of insurance joining the Iron Trades Employers Mutual insurance Company.
He couldn’t quite decide if he liked the risk business or not, so gave it some careful thought, as an underwriter, that’s what he gets paid for.
12 years later he felt he needed to make a more informed choice and joined the Trinity Insurance Company, as Regional Underwriter for the midlands. Just as he was settling in (with six years under his belt!) they ceased underwriting! Joe then made the decision to join Ecclesiastical, where he has settled for the past fifteen years, originally as Branch Underwriter but most recently as Development Underwriter for the West Midlands.
Joe’s most interesting experience was a temporary role he held in 1982, as part of the crowd control staff for Pope John Paul ll visit to Coventry.
