Davina Mobbs
Commercial Underwriter
Davina started her career aged 19 in 2000 at Avon Insurance (NFU Mutual) as Household/Motor/Package Underwriter for a Pharmacy scheme, and then moved to Ecclesiastical in 2004.
She is currently a Commercial Underwriter, and deals with all classes of business from quotation stage through to renewal. She is also involved with training within the RUC on underwriting systems, the development and testing of new products and most other system-related queries and qualms.
She is a member of the BII Young Members Committee and in 2008 will hold the position of Chair, which involves organising and running various events for the BII members.
Davina has a love of live music and has been involved with the management of unsigned bands. She is currently doing some work with her husband’s band Nine Dart Finish and, as much as she loves her job, would love them to get signed so she can spend her days as a lady who lunches.
